Matthew met Sarah in 2009 when SecurityNational retained Sarah's firm to represent SecurityNational in a lawsuit Matthew was handling as in-house counsel. As Sarah's client, Matthew enjoyed working with Sarah for many years on multiple matters. Sarah recruited Matthew to  join her team in 2023, negotiating a position where Matthew now works as of counsel with the firm while maintaining his position and primary professional focus as in-house counsel for SecurityNational.
